Jessica Collins is a dancer that is truly honored with the opportunity to instruct for BALANCE, the dance company that was responsible for stirring her love for the arts. Jessica’s Dance career began in 1995, and since that time dance has become her greatest passion. Throughout high school Jessica was drawn to the time old tradition of East Texas drill team. She served as line member 04-05, 1st Lieutenant, 05-06 and Captain 06-07, for the Henderson High School Lionettes. In 2006 Jessica and her officer group attended Starmakers officer camp. They brought home the first trophy in thirteen years, and in 2007 Jessica Choreographed, and taught the routine that won the second. Over the years Jessica has exhibited her ability to truly relate to her students, and the rare ability to shift from the precision of drill team, to the expressive and creative movement of stylized dance.
